August was an exciting month here at Godiva Bearings!
There’s a new member of the Godiva-Hamlett Household!! We welcomed little Farrah Hamlett into the world on August 8th at 4.20am, weighing 7lbs 11oz! Tom and Gemma were over the Moon, literally – Godiva Man had to bring them back, it’s safe to say that they were both overjoyed with their latest little bouncy blessing and her siblings are loving their tiny team member too!
Secondly, James Reed from our Newcastle Branch, went and tied the knot to his lovely Jennifer, who looked beautiful of course. The pair had an amazing day with their families and friends! They officially became Mr and Mrs Reed on August 30th at St John’s Church, in Westerhope. James, however, ‘forgot’ to book the transport home for himself and Mrs Jennifer Reed… They blagged and ended up in the DJ’s transit, hopefully he’ll live this down, soon! #OnlyFoolsAndHorses Good Luck Jennifer!!
Lastly, Suzie Withers our Marketing Manager got a surprise when herself and her boyfriend went to Ibiza this year! Ibiza will continue to be their favourite place in the World because they got engaged August 24th! Ahhh! Damian proposed at the infamous Café Mambo at Sunset over a Balearic meal whilst a remix of ‘Love will tear us apart’ played…Suzie unfortunately threw this back up later which Damian is still a tad miffed about! That’s the last fancy meal she’ll get! Good Luck Damian!!
