As this year comes to a close, we would like to reflect on the past year and what a year it’s been here at Godiva!

We’ve seen the return of some familiar faces, we’ve welcomed new ones, and we’re in a fantastic place, always looking forward!

Through highs and lows, our staff always pull through, and we’re so proud of our loyal and hard-working team.

Our Web Portal has grown significantly and has over 57,000 live products in stock and ready for AM delivery as standard to the UK.

Here is a recap of our 2022!

January – Godiva turns 45 and a brand-new website!

A time to reflect in itself at an important milestone for the company, so much progress and so many memories! We launched our brand-new website with a new look and feel with an accompanying online trade portal site and mobile app!

February – NKE are on board!

February saw the introduction of NKE Austria as one of our distributorships, one we’re very excited about and have already invested in the full range of imperial bearings amongst other ranges.

We were also in attendance to the Schaeffler Conference this month to keep in touch with one of our biggest suppliers, seeing what future projects are on the horizon!

March – New staff, 40 years with IKO and the Drives and controls show.

In March, the second half of the John’s joined us (Steph) and Stacie joins our Dudley sales team in the admin role. The future of Godiva is bright with the addition of these fantastic employees, who settled in instantly.

We also celebrated 40 years with IKO, a manufacturer we’re very proud to be distributors for, and also attended the Drives and Controls show at the NEC Birmingham.

April – Pulleys now in stock.

We launched our brand-new range of Pulleys to our vast range of transmission products.

May – Our additional product range is renewed

We receiveed our first consignment of circlips, snap rings and wave washers! We also welcomed back Matt Homer aka Harry aka H, to the Dudley warehouse team.

June – A huge month for staff and also the BearingNet User meeting in Dublin

We welcomed back Alan Filipiak to Newcastle Sales and Alex Robinson to Dudley Sales, it was great to have them back in the team.

Alex McGregor joins the Newcastle sales team and hits the ground running. We also attended the BearingNet User meeting in Dublin. It was great to be back attending shows and seeing old and new faces within the industry!

July – Strategic partners with Carter

July saw us partner up with Carter Americas, a very exciting partnership we hope stays strong for many years.

August – BECO has arrived

In August, we launched BECO, meaning we’re now able to offer the full range of super high temperature bearings “off the shelf” removing all the delays normally associated with this type of product elsewhere.

September – Milestones all around!

We celebrated 25 years as Aurora distributors in September and hit a milestone of receiving and delivering 50,000 orders!

October – Looking to the future

We welcomed Deb to our Warehouse team also Emily and Liz to our Warehouse Admin team.

November – James returns 

James returns to the Newcastle Sales team, bringing with him much knowledge and experience.

December – Our newest addition, McGill and giving a helping hand at Christmas time!  

We’re super excited to announce the launch of McGill at the end of this year, and for its future promotions in 2023. We also got into the Christmas spirit and gave to those in need with our annual Christmas Jumper Day for Save the Children charity, as well as our food donation box, which we give annually to our local Black Country Food Bank.
