In 2000, The Cone Mounter Company was purchased by the contract manufacturer Reata Engineering & Machine Works. Specializing in precision machining and assembly, Reata provides prototypes, tooling, production machining, and assembly to numerous industries including aviation/aerospace, medical, semiconductor capital equipment, retail, automotive, industrial, optics, lighting, fluid handling, and material handling. Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, Reata has multiple-degreed engineers on staff to support customers from the conception stage all the way through production. Under the ownership of Reata, The Cone Mounter Company was transformed into Reata’s product line, ConeMount, which manufactures and distributes a line of lightweight, portable bearing heaters. ConeMount helped grow Reata’s reputation for success and became the company’s first UL and CE-certified product line. In 2015 ConeMount started supporting the Industrial Distribution Industry by selling exclusively through authorized distributors.
